It's February, and Piss Mario hasn't missed an update yet! Of course, it isn't that challenging to do a thrice-weekly comic, so it really isn't that amazing.

Anyhow, I'd said in a previous news post that although the site is available at pissmario.com, I would continue to use SJ as a mirror until at least February.

So here's the deal. I like SJ. I believe in the mission of the admins here. But I don't like all the virii on the ads (which isn't really their fault.)

I'll continue to use here as a mirror, but if you get pwned by an ad consider my site. If I feel that enough people are going there, I may even ad a message board. (oooo.... community!)

Piss Mario, a comic that appeared on SmackJeeves back in 2006-2007 is making it's long awaited return!

The comic merges the Sprite art form with traditional filthy humor, and was "faved" by dozens of webcomic fans during its brief run. Even readers who traditionally despised spriting as a pox on the comic form enjoy the comic enough to comment.

New comics will be appearing on a MWF schedule starting December 28, 2009. All 187 old comics will be available, in addition to a couple "extras" that had limited Internet exposure.

Piss Mario will continue to appear on SmackJeeves at least until February 2010. Depending on circumstance, SmackJeeves may continue to be a mirror site. This will be the permanent, final home for Piss Mario.

Well, it's been a long time. I still have some people who stumble on this comic, even though I've not updated in about two years.

The good news is that I'm making comics again, after a big dust-up with life. I even intend to return to the realm of sprite comics.

At this point, I'm leaning towards just leaving SmackJeeves though. In the next couple of days you will be able to access all of these comics at PissMario.com.

In January (if not sooner, but don't hold your breath) new content will start to show up on the site. It won't be exclusively Mario, but he'll figure in pretty heavily.

Maybe I'll even learn how to sprite better. My MSPaint skillz only go so far.

Hey, all...
If you're reading this, you are also viewing the first Piss Mario strips that I've made in just over three months.

I'd never really abandoned the project, Mario has a few more adventures in store for your reading pleasure.

Will he eventually get smarter? Will he learn that Luigi's girlfriend's name really isn't Jennifer? Will Chompers just fly away, never to return?

Probably not, but I'd appreciate if you read the comic anyway!

Let's try for a MWF schedule for now. Sound good?

Today marks the 50th Piss Mario since it's debut. In that time I've actually learned a bit about spriting, including adding sky, word balloons and more.

Lots of improvements have been made (and more are coming) thanks to your suggestions. Keep them coming.

I do check comments just about every day (maybe a little less when I've got a buffer built up) and read every one. I appreciate 99% of them. ;)

Starting a webcomic (even a sprite one) is a big endeavor. There's a lot that I want to do with Piss Mario to get things flowing.

So here's what I'm going to do. Starting January 1st, Piss Mario will be running M-F for an unspecified time. It may be two weeks, it might be all year.
